TRYBE is a Creative Entity whose work revolves around ideas of the performance of the self and how the clothes we wear affects how we perform ourselves. It is approaching performance as the conscious modification of behaviour to achieve an end. TRYBE is focussed on the notion of TRYing to BElong to subcultural tribes, and making your way into one rather than purchasing your way in as a better way to perform yourself more accurately. The entity usually modifies t-shirts, as the most ubiquitous clothing item, through quite basic sewing and textile additions. They have also run The Body Project workshop a couple of times, welcoming others into the TRYBE.
